In order to install windows vista onto a new hard disk,
1)Insert the product recovery CD into the cd drive
2)Boot from CD. You may be asking how to do this. When you switch on your computer, you may see a screen of the brand of the computer. Press either "esc" or "tab" to view diagnostic screen for POST. Most of the time, at the bottom of the page, there will an option like "boot menu". It could be F12 or any other buttons depending on your computer.
3)In boot menu, select DVD/CD Rom drive
4) Windows will be loading files. Follow on screen instructions to continue
That is how you can install windows vista at new hard disk from product recovery cd.
